The interchangeable lenses allow use of all the EF Canon lenses presently available. Also, the camera is available with a night vision adapter and 3rd generation tube for night time viewing.
The new 160 to 640mm lens couples with the 3 million pixel resolution makes it and ideal camera for forensics and surveillance. The high resolution allows the image to be blown up in size after storing it to many of the memory modules available for close examination of the subject in question. The optional memory module docking station allows for quick down loading to your computer through a USB cable and port.
